    Cake delivered crashed and cream haven't been kept in the fridge and was melted . Ruined my birthday ! Called them and they said they have cctv where cake delivered to driver intact. A lie. Did not provide any other cake. Poor language speakers , they don t even listen/let you talk.Cake was actually a dry sponge.

    Lovely little shop! Great selection of cakes of all different shapes and sizes. I bought a couple of cakes here earlier today and they were not only very delicious, but they were so reasonably priced as well! You'll find it very difficult to find cakes of this quality at this price. Will definitely be coming back to The Cake Box in the near future.

    We pre ordered birthday cakes to be collected a few days apart. The first one was ok with no problems, however the second larger cake had a very distinctive washing up liquid taste in the cream. We served this up to many guests at our party and everyone could taste this and therefore didn’t eat the cake after tasting it. We contacted the store and had no reply, after a few days we contacted again, apparently the manager was on holiday. They dismissed the claim there was anything wrong with the cream, apparently it was the same batch of cream as the first cake so we were told it’s impossible for it to taste funny. They advertise their cakes as having fresh cream, if you’re still using the same batch of fresh cream days later, I would hardly call this fresh! They also said I should’ve arranged to return the cake back to the shop, if you don’t reply to me for a week, you can’t expect me to still have your not fit for consumption cake hanging around. The customer service in this Eastleigh branch is appalling, as are the standard of cakes. I would steer clear if they claim to be selling fresh cream cakes, made with fresh cream that’s + days old...
